Do you know where your new puppy is from?
Through the windowed cieling I see a f

So free, off the leash, and happy
If only I could be that way,
But give up my place here?
I'd rather stay
For if I leave there will be a spot
For the next puppy from those halls
In this pet shop in the mall

Isn't the United States of America supposed to be a free democracy? We are not free of the burdens of most on our shoulders. I believe that we should be. We have been allowed to vote for our new leader, and to vote for many other things. It is our choice.
Many people believe that they are not animals, that animals have fur. Well, a bird is part of the animal kingdom. So is a snake. And our closest relatives, the chimpanzee. We can believe what we want to believe, but that doesn't mean that the truth is what you think is a lie. Once someone told me that you can judge a person by how she treats animals. I know that that is true.
A lot of people have no idea what a puppy mill is. Do you know what a puppy mill is? It's a jail. A jail where they cry out as their siblings 'expire'. Perhaps this certain one has a liver shunt or a faulty kidney. These 'people' cannot speak, all they have are their minds as they perish away silently, occasionally whimpering until the man says 'It's time'. They are then shoved in small cages with other litters and are shipped cross-country. They are not fed or handled in any way. There are no people to come pet their fears away. They cannot help but to sit in fecies, only to be rinsed off as they reach the pet shop, where they wolf down their rations. Here they are left until an uneducated fool comes along, looking for the perfect pet and sees a small chihuahua or a yorkshire terrier. He whips out his wallet and declares that he is buying one, and is soon driving away, the reciept still warm from the salesman's hands in his pocket. "No refunds" it states.
One would argue to take these puppies from the pet store and get them imediate medical treatment. I say no. If one does that, all they are doing is leaving a place for another puppy to go. Their money goes straight from your pocket into the greedy hands of puppy farmers who use the money to pay for their wants and not their needs. They waste no time in collecting food for their animals. They have no need. They just give them the leftovers from their high class meal.
Bit.ches are forced to breed at their first heating, and are left to lick the sad remaints of their dead pups when they die, he or she having not been removed. Soon, all that is left is the skeleton. Dogs talk, but they cannot speak their language. The words they speak here are, 'Help me. Fight for me. Save me.' yet we cannot respond. Those puppies have hip dysplasia, cancer, tumors, kidney failure, and liver shunts. They are estimated to live about three months to one year before they go to the doghouse in the sky. In the bible, it states clearly that he wants us to take care of his creatures and his world. America is no doing that by allowing puppy mills to pass go and collect two hundred.
Just remember. Those puppies may look at you with sad, meaningfull eyes, but they are not saying, 'adopt me'. They are telling you to leave them there and be strong, that the best way to save them is to boycott that puppy shop. Inquire where that puppy was from, perhaps give the place a look.
